Unilux low water volume boilers is approved by the TSSA, and does not require an operating engineers in Ontario, Canada.
Take advantage of higher thermal efficiencies due to our effective 5 pass design compared to most designs which are only single-pass.
Based on the type of burner selected and unlike our competitors, we offer a high modulating turndown ratio so that the boiler does not shut off due to lower load conditions.
✔ Our selection of low water volume boiler options offer a high heating surface area that results in less stress and longer service life.
✔ An innovative flexible tube design that helps to eliminate the possibility of thermal shock. And equipped with a larger steam drum that is capable of handling large load swings.
✔ Not only do they offer excellent steam quality due to the internal design of steam separation, but they also provides natural boiler circulation that eliminates the need for a circulating pump.
✔ Tube replacements and repairs are easy with having the lowest cost as no tube welding is required due to them being ferrule fitted.
✔ You can also benefit with lower Installation and replacement parts cost, as most parts are available from any local distributor.
✔ Some of the lowest electrical, maintenance, repair, and fuel operating costs in the industry.
We are happy to provide you with a detailed quote and consulting for selecting the correct design and size boiler for your operation.

Unilux Advanced Manufacturing offers boilers that are equipped with standard parts, making aftermarket operating costs lower than most units available on the market. And the low water volume boiler’s and burners from Unilux Boilers are packaged approved and do not require field approval.
As for competitors, you can only purchase parts directly from the boiler manufacturer. In some cases, this also applies to servicing your boilers, where the manufacturer is the only service provider for your boiler. In the case of Unilux Advanced Manufacturing, parts and services can be purchased or completed by any Licensed Boiler Service Technician.
The warranties offered by Unilux Advanced Manufacturing match and exceeds most competitive boiler warranties in the industry.
Most Comprehensive Warranty's Available, Including Thermal Shock (25 Years) and Refractory Warranty of 5 years.
The capital cost of a new boiler is only a small portion of the total cost of ownership. During the lifetime expectancy of a new boiler, the operating costs will far exceed the capital cost of the unit.
S.P. Thermal Systems Inc. can help you evaluate your future operating costs of the Unilux boiler and compare it to any other boiler vendors. We offer a free efficiency operating cost evaluation, based on your expected load and operating conditions before purchasing. This will show the operating savings you can expect versus other units.
No Operating Engineers are Required in Ontario, Canada Up to 450 BHP - (15,525 lbs /hour steam up to 175 PSIG)
Boilers are designed to provide value by reducing operating costs with features such as higher efficiency, lower electric requirements, lower repair cost, lower radiation loss, and a lower service cost.
Blowdown Control is very important to maintain at the maximum value that the design of the boiler will allow before steam quality becomes an issue. The maximum Total Dissolved Value is usually determined by your water treatment supplier who is familiar with your water makeup quality, amount of condensate returns, external equipment in-use, load swings, process steam quality required, and equipment such as softeners, reverse osmosis, etc.
Some classification of low water volume boilers does not have a true blowdown water collection location, while some others have an unusual blowdown design. In this case, this is where the boiler water is returned to the feed water tank, rather than going to the blowdown tank. This particular supplier claims that their blowdown is less than the conventional boilers, however, these claims can be confusing and their blowdown is actually much higher due to their design restrictions.
In addition, some of these boiler suppliers have gone beyond that by adding other timed blowdown controls to help protect their boiler due to their units having a very small heating surface area. This does not save you money but increases your blowdown rate. As a result, this leads to an extra operating cost to the user.

We are happy to provide you with what the actual operating cost would be with one of our low water volume boilers. A second opinion costs nothing and is always a wise move before making a boiler decision for your company's operation.
The Unilux Low Water Volume Boilers that we offer can be fueled using natural gas or NO.2 heating oil that exceeds environmental regulations.
Annual Predicted Electric Cost = Total Motor HP x Oper. Hrs x 0.746 x Boiler Electric Cost Average/0.9 x Average Run Load % / 100
The electrical consumption on boilers will vary as some boilers require a larger HP blower motor, due to the boiler having a high-pressure drop in its design. In some designs, the boiler does not have natural circulation and therefore requires an additional circulating pump. These two issues on certain boiler designs will result in a much higher operating and maintenance cost. This does not apply to the Unilux Advanced Manufacturing boiler that we offer.
EXAMPLE USING FORMULA:
Unliux Low Water Volume Inputs:
BHP: 64 -150
Blower Motor: 3-5 HP
FD. Pump Motor: <5 HP
Cir. Pump Motor: Not Required
Total Motor: HP <10 HP
Calculating the Electric Cost/ Year:
Boiler Electric Cost Average: $0.06 / kwh
Voltage: 575/3/60
Boiler Run (Hours/ Year): 2000 Hours
Total Motor HP: <10 HP
Average Run Load %: Say 80% Feed Pump is ON/OFF
∴ The Average Electric Cost/ Year is <$795.73
To evaluate the electrical operating cost, we recommend you consider reviewing the operating cost of the various boiler designs, by requesting the required data from your selection of boiler suppliers and inputting it into the calculation provided above.
