Come with an exceptionally large steam drum that allows for high-demand steam swings and can burn various fuels including gas, natural gas, NO. 2 (diesel) oil, propane (lp) gas, and heavy oil.
Come as packaged approved boilers and burners that do not require field approval. We have multiple options available such as two-pass, three-pass, four-pass, wetback, and dry back designs. The key benefit of a wet back design offers fewer issues with refractory maintenance.
These boilers feature a high modulating turndown ratio as high as 10:1 so that the boiler does not shut off due to lower load conditions.
There is less concern for water treatment in fire tube boilers, than there is in water tube boilers. However, it is important to note that fire tube units have a larger footprint and take longer to reach steam pressure than water tube boilers.
Operating engineers are required in Ontario, Canada if the Fire Tube Boiler is >50 BHP and the design pressure is >15 psig.

Let us help you evaluate your needs and requirements to see if a fire tube boiler is right for your company's operation. We perform thermal reviews, efficiency audits, load evaluations, and various calculations to find the right size and design to maximize your return on investment.
